In 2002, Cleverex built the Head Start Fiscal Assistant. Within the first 6 months of its release, the Fiscal Assistant became the second-most popular section in the entire OHS website.
The Fiscal Assistant was the Head Start community’s free premier online database for information regarding the administration and management of Head Start funds. The system contained all the statutes, regulations, and policies related to the fiscal management of Head Start grants. It also included selected narratives, with easy-to-read explanations of regulations. Using the Fiscal Assistant, users could quickly locate, sort through, and interpret large amounts of information related to Head Start grants: the Head Start Act Information Memoranda, "Plain Language" Narratives, Head Start Program Regulations, the Uniform Administrative Requirements (45 CFR Parts 74 and 92), Appeals Board Decisions, OMB Circulars, Glossary and Definitions, and Head Start Program Performance Standards.
Features included:
• Quick Search and Advanced Search,
• Library (peruse all documents within system),
• Browse (look for information by viewing topics or subtopics of interest),
• Frequently Asked Questions,
